Chief Executive Officer

As the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Moonbridge Capital, Pius Ho is responsible for managing the firm and directing its investment activities on a day-to-day basis. He also holds the position of Chairman of the Investment Advisory Committee, the entity responsible for managing and overseeing key potential investment risks for the firm. Pius is a seasoned real estate investor with 22 years of fund and private equity real estate investment experience in Asia and North America.

Prior to launching Moonbridge Capital, Pius was Senior Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of Real Estate for Asia at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (“ADIA”) where he was responsible for managing the group’s existing portfolio of investments and driving the overall strategic direction of ADIA’s real estate investments in Asia. In addition, Pius was a member of the Executive Committee, the board responsible for managing ADIA’s global real estate portfolio.

Before ADIA, Pius was Chief Investment Officer at Citi Property Investors Asia and was instrumental in launching Citi’s Asia real estate opportunistic platform and fund, leading the team to closing US$1.3 billion in equity for transactions across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Korea, the Philippines and Japan. Pius has also previously been Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management at LaSalle Investment Management, Senior Vice President at Starwood Capital Group, and Manager of Business Development and Projects at Pacific Century Regional Developments.

Pius holds an M.B.A. from the University of Ottawa’s Graduate School of Business and a Bachelors of Commerce in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Colombia.

Chief Investment Officer

Loewe Lee is the co-founder and Chief Investment Officer at Moonbridge Capital. In this role, Loewe is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring and managing investments. He also serves as a voting member of the Investment Advisory Committee, primarily responsible for managing and overseeing potential investment risks. Loewe brings significant property investment and development experience to the firm, having completed over US$1 billion in transactions including developing six boutique service apartments, a landmark Grade A office tower and two luxury residential projects in Hong Kong and Greater China.

Loewe is also the Managing Director of National Electronics Holdings Limited, a publicly listed company on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and its investment holding and property development subsidiary National Properties Holdings Limited. Under his leadership, National Properties has become the preferred development partner for a number of institutional real estate funds over the past 7 years.

Prior to his experience at National Properties, Loewe was an investment banking analyst at JPMorgan in New York, where he worked on over US$2.4 billion in capital markets transactions ranging from mergers and acquisitions to equity and debt financings.

Loewe received his A.B. Cum Laude in Economics from Harvard University and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Paul Y.L. Tong

Senior Advisor of Risk

Paul Yuk Lun Tong is a Senior Advisor of Risk to Moonbridge Capital and a voting member of the Investment Advisory Committee, where he is responsible for managing and overseeing potential execution risks. Dr. Tong also currently serves as Managing Director of Hip Hing Construction (China), Non-Executive Director of Edward Wong Development, Chairman of Bangkok BTS Assets Ltd and Non-Executive Director of Bangkok BTS Group Ltd. Dr. Tong has 34 years of real estate investment and development experience across Asia.

Previously, Dr. Tong was Chief Executive of Pacific Century Regional Developments where he was responsible for developing the Company’s property and infrastructure projects in China, South East Asia and India including Pacific Century Place Beijing and Pacific Century Place Tokyo. Prior to that, Dr. Tong was General Manager of New World Development Co where he was responsible for managing the conglomerate’s real estate acquisition and development projects including Hong Kong’s Convention & Exhibition Centre, Suntec City Centre in Singapore, and Riverside South in New York.

Dr. Tong has also held a number of senior executive positions over the years such as Chairman of Parsons Brinckerhoff Asia Pacific, Executive Director of Lai Sun Development Co., and Director and Vice Chairman of Lai Fung Holdings. He has previously acted as a consultant for some of the largest Greater China-focused property developers including New World China Land Co., Citic Pacific Ltd., and Melco Services Ltd.

Dr. Tong holds a B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D in Engineering and has extensive experience in civil, structural and geotechnical engineering. He is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, London and of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.

Senior Advisor of Development

Jimmy Yuen Ching Lee is a Senior Advisor of Development at Moonbridge Capital and a voting member of the Investment Advisory Committee, where he is responsible for managing and overseeing potential development risks. Mr. Lee is the founder and Chairman of National Electronics Holdings Limited, a publicly listed company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and as Chairman of National Properties Holdings Limited (“National Properties”), the investment holding and property development subsidiary of National Electronics. He has over 20 years of real estate investment and development experience and founded National Properties in 1992.

Mr. Lee established National Properties with a vision to create a leader and innovator in property development by building exclusive high-end residences and unique commercial buildings throughout Greater China. Under Mr. Lee’s leadership, the Company has distinguished itself as a leader in luxury property development and is a preferred real estate operating partner for a number of institutional real estate funds over the past 11 years.

Sarina Chau
Sarina Chau
Fund Manager

As Moonbridge Capital’s Fund Manager, Sarina Chau is responsible for managing the investment vehicle’s operations along with institutional client and consultant relationships. Her role also includes actively managing the firm’s portfolio of investments with a keen focus on fund governance. Sarina has 10 years of real estate experience, including 8 years of fund experience in Asia.

Prior to Moonbridge Capital, Sarina was a Vice President of Acquisitions at Citi Property Investors Asia where she closed US$200 million in equity for investments across Hong Kong, China, Korea and Indonesia. Her responsibilities included all aspects of investment and asset management from acquisition through to disposition. Prior to this role, Sarina was a financial analyst in the Real Estate and Lodging Group at Citi in New York where she worked on US$1.1 billion in capital markets offerings and joint ventures for public real estate companies.

Sarina earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Jasmine Wong
Jasmine Wong
Vice President of Investments

As Vice President of Investments for Moonbridge Capital, Jasmine Wong will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, recommending and executing transactions in accordance with the investment strategy of the Fund. Her role will include working closely with the development and operations team to ensure implementation and on-going asset management of each investment. Jasmine has ten years of real estate experience, including seven years of fund experience in Asia.

Prior to joining Moonbridge Capital, Jasmine was an Investment Manager in the Real Estate and Infrastructure Department of ADIA where she was responsible for managing direct and indirect investments with net asset values totaling over US$2 billion across China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and India. Prior to her experience at ADIA, Jasmine spent over 3 years at LaSalle Investment Management in Hong Kong where she focused on real estate acquisitions in Great China and closed over US$950 million in transactions during her tenure there.

Jasmine holds a B.Sc. (First Class) Surveying from the University of Hong Kong and is a chartered financial analyst. She is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors.

Heidi Wong

Senior Associate of Investments

Heidi Sum is a Senior Associate of Investments for Moonbridge Capital and will be responsible for underwriting and evaluating investment opportunities for the Fund.   In this role, she will work closely with the development and operations team to ensure implementation and on-going asset management of each investment.  Heidi has over seven years of real estate experience, including five years of fund experience in Asia.

Prior to joining Moonbridge Capital, Heidi was a Fund Analyst at Goodman in Hong Kong where she worked on numerous fund and joint venture platforms across China and Hong Kong totaling US$3 billion.  Prior to her experience at Goodman, Heidi was an associate at LaSalle Investment Management in Hong Kong where she evaluated real estate acquisition opportunities in Great China and conducted market studies for target cities within China and Asia Pacific. Before LaSalle, Heidi worked at Sun Hung Kai Properties where she was involved in master planning developments, sales and marketing, and analyzing project costs and sales prices forecasts for residential properties in Hong Kong and China. 

Heidi holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) from the University of Hong Kong.
